New job and some
other great news!
Helllooooo
everyone! I've got some good news to share with you all. First of all, I've
scored a job as a Web Developer at a popular company here in New Zealand! My
role is to build websites, hand coded that is (which is a pain because I
don't know much html but I am keen to learn) I also make updates to clients
websites whenever they need updating whether it be text changes, graphic
changes or whatever. I've made a couple of flash photo galleries at my new
job for clients websites, it's been tough but I am enjoying working there.
My latest challenge is to make a interactive Map in flash, showing all the
main attractions of Lake Taupo, which is where I live. The stuff they want
on the map requires a lot of actionscript knowledge, and being the
actionscript n00b that I am, it's my biggest project so far. I've been at
the job for over a month now and it's only going to get better as I improve
my skills.
In other news, my
workmate who is the same age as me has helped me build up a powerful new
computer. The specifications are unbelievable and it's going to be sooo good
for gaming, producing music and flash. The computer arrives tomorrow at my
work, then from there I'll take it home with me. I opted to go with Windows
XP, as I haven't really used Vista before and XP is just fine for me.
Also some other
exciting news! My song "False Exoneration" which can be heard on my
myspace
page was played on the radio last night! A local radio station messaged me
on myspace asking if I wanted one of my songs played and of course I said
yes. They played it on the radio 30 minutes later. I felt like a star haha,
even though they didn't introduce the song name or artist name :(
I've got some
plans to make some new flash when I get this computer tomorrow and of course
some new music. I don't really update Revival Eyes much anymore, it's
become really dead, the forums have lost all of it's activity and I feel
like I should start something new. I was originally making a new website

on that too. I like making up site names rather then using my own name, so
if one day a name pops in my head, I'll be sure to put it to good use and
create a new site! But for now you can catch me over at my Newgrounds

HOLY CRAZY
SAMARITANS
Long time no hear
hey. I have been living in New Zealand for about 2 months now. It's a
definite lifestyle change from Australia. It's cold and mostly overcast and
raining, where as in Australia it was always warm/hot, sunny and never
rained. At least I get to have longer showers here. Stupid water
restrictions in Australia suck.
Anywho, I've been
really into making songs lately. I am getting the hang of it and I am saving
up for a new computer with an awesome sound card and I'm gonna buy a good
quality mic. I can start writing some acoustic songs I've been wanting to
make then. I will also be able to have high quality voice acting in my flash
movies too, which will be fine and dandy.
I can assure you,
in about 3-4 weeks when I have saved up the money for all of this, I will be
making a lot more songs and flash. The main reason I don't make much is
because my sound and mic is of crap outdated quality. So for now you can

Moving Country
 Hey
guys. Sorry again for the lack of updates. I am moving to New Zealand for a
year because my parents like it there and I said I would try it out. Might
as well, it won't hurt to give it a go. It will be cold as anything. I
probably won't be online for about 3-6 weeks. Yeah I am going to miss
everyone here in Aus, but I am sure I will see them all again. I go for my
License test tomorrow morning and I am kinda nervous but I should be
alright. Hope I get it, FAROUT. If I get a chance I'll try and get on msn
whenever I can at Internet Cafe's etc, in New Zealand. So if you haven't
heard from me for awhile, it's cause I am settling into a new country.

Flash Toons
I have just
finished making a pilot flash cartoon to get people excited for the next
episode of Salty Swamp 2. You can view the pilot here:

Thanks to Jeremy Harrington for voicing yet again. Once I get a new
drawing tablet I'll work on Salty Swamp 2. For now I have 2 other short
flash projects I am working on. One is for a contest and the other is just
something stupid I want to finish off.

Happy Holidays
and Stuff
Ahh, sorry for
the lack of updates and new toons! I really haven't had the motivation
lately. Since I have graduated and finished school for good now I have to
find a job :(

Okay, as far as
new toons go, I have started making a new one. You can see the teaser for it

has no title yet, but you should have a clue to what it is going to be about
by looking at the mountains. I don't know when it will be finished but
hopefully I am motivated enough to finish it.
Well this has
been one crazy year for me and my schooling. I've made a shipload of mates
and now I got to get my act together and get a real job. Hope you all have a
crazy good new year! Take it easy.

Stuff
Haven't really
been working on the layout because I have had to edit it so much. It's been
a pain in the crack. SO I don't know when it will be up and running. For now
you will have to put up with this layout which you have been doing for over
2 years. The reason why I have had to edit it so much is because my monitor
sucks. It's too dark and when I view my website on another monitor it shows
things way brighter and I can see alot of detail I didn't see while making
my site with my darker monitor. So now I am using my brothers monitor and
everything should be easier now for me. Oh and the forum has been removed
because it actually sucked after all that. If I find a better forum/one I
could be bothered editing to look good I will let you all know.

New Layout
Progress
So far so good.
The new layout should be up within a few days. I think it looks better than
the current layout. You will probably notice some of the pages are not
working on the site at the moment, like the sprite page for example. Well
this is because I am removing pages I feel I don't want anymore from the
site, don't worry I will still keep the sprite movies up, they will have
their own separate page from the drawn movies. Anyway the layout still needs
work but you should all be pleased with the result. Stay tuned.

Forum Deleted
Well my forum has
now been deleted. I had too many bots registering to it and posting stupid
random crap. Plus it wasn't me who deleted it. I was sick of the forum
anyway. I am planning on installing a better more secure forum within the
week, so look out for that. I'm sorry to everyone who could post news on
here because you can no longer post news anymore since the forum has been
deleted. Since the news posting ability has been deleted this might give me
a chance to finally make a new layout for Revival Eyes since I haven't made
one in a couple of years. It would be interesting to see what I could come
up with.
Also if anyone
could help me fix the problem with the splash page how it goes to NaN when
you click enter the site, that would be much appreciated. Email me
