blordough and blordow are the same person, me.
Frequently Asked Questions
Did you design this site?
Yes I designed this website. I created it in Adobe Photoshop cs5 and exported it to Adobe Dreamweaver cs5. I give myself a lot of work to do but I enjoy every bit.

Why did you stop making VideoGame Parodies (Sprite Movies)?
Because I felt like it was the right time for me to move on to more original aspects of creativity. I had fun making parodies but I was all out of motivation to keep making more. With that said, I may end up making one for old times sake sometime in the future, who knows.

What do you make your animations in?
I currently use Adobe Flash cs5. It's very easy to pick up, there are plenty of tutorials on youtube if you need help.

What do you draw with?
A Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet, which I won from newgrounds.com :) I used to primarily draw with just a mouse up until 2008.

What do you use to create your music?
At the moment I use Logic Pro 9. However when I owned a PC I used FL Studio 8. Both are very easy and awesome programs to use.

Who sings in your songs?
Me. I am not the best but who doesn't like hearing the sound of their own voice? The screaming / shouting you hear in some of my songs is also me, RARRRR!

What is the music played in your VideoGame Parody "Wario Gets Straight"?
I get asked this a lot and it has been so long since I made that flash, I don't remember the song title credits. However I recall I got the music from a website called VGMix. I believe that website has closed down now unfortunately.

Can I donate to you?
NO. Okay, ofcourse I am joking, yes you can by clicking the paypal button at the bottom of the website. Any donations are very much appreciated and help go towards the site.

How did you come up with the name Revival Eyes?
Well I was about 13-14 when I first created this site. It was originally made to showcase my sprite parodies I made so I thought of "Revival Eyes" because I was reviving old games and you could watch what I created. It sounded good to me so I stuck with it.

Can I use your music for a project of my own?
Yes you can, however I require you to give credit for any tracks you use of mine, with the song name followed by my name 'Shaun McGlinn' and a link to my site, so that others can find my work if curious.

How come you go by the names 'Blordow' and 'blordough'?
I started out with Blordow when I was making sprite parodies, I pronounced it as Blor-Dow (as in cow) but a lot of people pronounced it as blor-dough (as in cookie-dough). I later then used 'blordough' as a new alias when I created a youtube account to upload my stuff. I am the same person wherever you see the two names. Some people still refer to me as Blordow though, which I don't mind.

How did you learn everything you know?
I taught myself through my own research and experimentation. As a 12 year old I used Microsoft Frontpage and Adobe Photoshop 5 to create my first website, I found it very easy and enjoyable teaching myself at an early age and eventually I found out about Flash and taught myself the basics. It's all about experimenting and I feel much more satisfied knowing I taught myself rather than rely on others to spoon feed me.

Do you offer any services?
Rarely, unless the person is quite serious and not expecting me to just create something for them for free. If you want me to produce something for you, please email me shaun [at] revivaleyes [dot] com with specific requests. I can get back to you with a quote once we figure out what it is you need.

What about collaborations?
At this time I am busy with my own projects, however I will collab with people if the project is some what ambitious, original and if I genuinely like the concept (If I have the time).
